We opened on Mother’s Day in 2017. We brought our son back from Colorado to introduce the NEK to Texas BBQ. While located on Cross Street in Island Pond, we also cater and vend at local events throughout the North Country.

Our Original Pit Master
Our son Rob was Hobo’s original Pit Master. A long illness took Rob from us way too young but not before leaving his mark on the Hobo’s menu. His secret recipe Sweet Heat BBQ Sauce is still coating every delicious barbecue bite. It is also available for sale so you can take some home for when we can’t do the cooking for you.
